A brief description of the services sought:
The current dewatering polymer system is located within the Dewatering Building and is comprised of bulk polymer storage tanks which were installed with the building in the late 1950’s, and a polymer make-down and feed system that was installed in the 1990’s. With the storage tanks well beyond their useful service life, and over 15 years of polymer make-down system operation (the last 5+ years of which have occurred without manufacturer supported replacement parts), the entire polymer system has been and continues to be in need of replacement. The objective of this project is to provide a polymer dewatering system that is reliable and well supported.
Design of this project was completed in February 2013 and subsequently updated in September 2015. The basis of design memorandum is included as part of this RFQ. This project is located at the Mill Creek WWTP, 1600 Gest Street, in the City of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.
