SEALED BIDS will be received for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (“MSDGC”) by the City of Cincinnati (the “City”), as sole management agency for the operation and maintenance of the MSDGC at Two Centennial Plaza, 805 Central Avenue, Suite 234, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202:

at which time said bids will be OPENED and publicly READ for construction of the above named project. Bidders must deliver their bid to the City at Two Centennial Plaza, 805 Central Ave, Suite 234, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, by the time and date specified above, either by hand or other logistics.

In general, the work will consist of construction improvements to the UV disinfection system and NPW system at the Polk Run Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).  Additionally a new post aeration system will be installed.  The work includes, but is not limited to the construction of two UV channels, including equipment, new blowers, a new submersible pump and associated appurtenances. 
The project is located in Symmes Township in Hamilton, County, Ohio.
The estimated cost of construction for this project is: $1,860,400.00
Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents.

In general, the work will consist of construction improvements to the NPW system at the Polk Run Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).  The project will increase the capacity of the pumping system from 6 MGD to 18 MGD and increase the operating pressure of the system. The proposed facility is designed with two separate pumping systems. One, 6 MGD pumping system supplies the continuous demands at the incinerator facility. The other, 12 MGD, system supplies NPW to the rest of the treatment plant and to the non-continuous demands such as the ash slurry system at the incinerator building. The work includes, but is not limited to the construction of new pumps, strainers, controls and instrumentation, a new electrical room, 13.2 unit substation and associated appurtenances.  
The project is located in Symmes Township in Hamilton, County, Ohio.
The estimated cost of construction for the project is: $5,288,500.00.
Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. This project will utilize Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) funding.
