SEALED Proposals will be received for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (“MSDGC”) by the City of Cincinnati (the “City”), as sole management agency for the operation and maintenance of MSDGC at Two Centennial Plaza, 805 Central Avenue, Suite 234, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202:

A brief description of the services sought:
The objective of the Project is to complete construction of a new Diversion Chamber. Construction must be completed by December 31, 2019 to comply with an existing Consent Decree.
Ideally, the Project will include construction of connections to the Mill Creek Interceptor and Mill Creek Auxiliary Interceptor. However, all planning, design, permitting and construction work must be completed within the available $7.15M budget. As a result, some of the inter-connections may need to be deferred to a later date, with only stub-outs provided. In that event, MSD may elect to amend the Contract to construct the interconnections at a later date pending funding availability. Because of these budget constraints, the scope of Work will include design-to-budget analyses to optimize the work that MSDGC can complete within the available budget.
The work to be completed under this Project generally includes:
* Evaluate siting options for the planned new Diversion Chamber, taking into account other nearby facilities, the locations of the existing interceptors and Mill Creek, and future connections needed to existing and future facilities (e.g., interceptors, future pump station, and treatment facilities)
* Conduct design-to-budget analyses to determine the optimal Project relative to Project requirements, Consent Decree requirements, efficient construction phasing, and MSDGC’s available Project budget
* Complete design of improvements, including cost estimating and construction scheduling, with design submittals at major design milestones
* Obtain required site, environmental, and building permits
Perform construction, testing, startup/commissioning, and provide a one-year warranty for the new Diversion Chamber at MCWWTP.

In general, the work consists of construction of approximately 64 linear feet of 6-inch sanitary sewer conduit and related sewer appurtenances to serve 10502 Mill Road. 
The project is located in Springfield Township in Hamilton, County, Ohio.
The estimated cost of construction for this project is: $38,254.00.
Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents.
