MCWWTP Sludge Storage Tank Covers and Odor Control – Design, Bid & Construction Phase Services  
RFQ # 2018-010
SEALED Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) will be received for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (“MSDGC”) by the City of Cincinnati (the “City”), as sole management agency for the operation and maintenance of MSDGC at Two Centennial Plaza, 805 Central Avenue, Suite 234, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202:

Offerors must deliver their SOQs to the City at Two Centennial Plaza, 805 Central Ave, Suite 234, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, by the time and date specified above, either by hand or other logistics.

A brief description of the services sought:
The scope of this project involves the demolition of the existing sludge storage tank floating convers, structural repairs to the top 2 feet of the existing tank walls to support the new cover, the construction of new fixed covers, and the installation of an odor control system. This project also includes several other improvements such as including adding mixers, flushing nozzles, replacing sludge transfer pumps, and the demolition of excess piping in control room A. 
The contract services resulting from this RFQ will be executed in two phases:
1). Detailed engineering design 
2). Construction Phase & commissioning, including SCADA and O&M Manuals 
Services provided in the detailed engineering design phase include, but are not limited to:
* Design for demolition of existing digester covers
* Design for installation of new covers, including any necessary structural analysis or design for supporting structure.
* Design of a new odor control system
* Design of instrumentation for sludge level monitoring including SCADA integration.
Consultant shall provide all engineering and other detailed design services for construction plans and details, specifications, opinion of probable construction cost of the proposed improvements. 
The consultant will also provide construction phase and systems integration services, as required, for the project.  Services to be provided in this phase may include the following:
* Review shop drawings and O&M Manuals for conformance with the contract documents
* SCADA System Configuration, as required
* Update on-line O&M Manual, as required
