MSDGC Conveyance Projects 2019 – Planning & Design  
RFQ # 2019-001
SEALED Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) will be received for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (“MSDGC”) by the City of Cincinnati (the “City”), as sole management agency for the operation and maintenance of MSDGC at Two Centennial Plaza, 805 Central Avenue, Suite 234, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202:

Offerors must deliver their SOQs to the City at Two Centennial Plaza, 805 Central Ave, Suite 234, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, by the time and date specified above, either by hand or other logistics.

A brief description of the services sought:
MSDGC intends to award four bundles of projects to four (4) separate firms via this RFQ.
Services provided in the planning phase include, but are not limited to, project management, evaluation of existing MSD assets, data collection and review, modeling, and development of a business case evaluation (BCE).  The vendor shall provide all engineering, alternatives analysis, estimating, risk assessment, and other planning services for final business case evaluation documentation and develop an approach that takes into account flexibility, available land, accessibility, maintenance, reliability, operations, and constructability.
Services provided in the detailed design phase include, but are not limited to, project management, geotechnical and surveying services, permit coordination, development of property acquisition documentation, estimating, and detailed design.  The vendor shall provide all engineering and other detailed design services required to submit construction plans and details, specifications, and opinion of probable construction cost.
Services provided in the construction services phase include, but are not limited to, construction administration, support through bidding the project bundle, material testing as needed, and field engineering.

In general, the work consists of the purchase and delivery of incinerator sand, gravel, and raw materials used for water or wastewater treatment or facilities maintenance for the Metropolitan Sewer District. In addition to supply and delivery of materials, the services that may be provided under this contract include but are not limited to sieve analysis or other laboratory analysis of incinerator sand, ash, other treatment chemicals or process samples.
Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents.
