A brief description of the services sought:
The Pump Station Telemetry System Upgrades project will include design and construction of an upgraded telemetry system for a total of approximately 100 MSDGC pump stations located throughout Greater Cincinnati area. The existing pump station telemetry system will be replaced with cellular modems and upgraded Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) panels, and includes associated new wiring, conduit, etc. The design documents will be traditionally bid, and an installation contractor will be selected to install the upgrades at the pump station sites.
This RFQ solicits the services of qualified Panel Fabricators to provide the new RTU panels as described in further detail herein. The Panel Fabricator will be required to fabricate approximately 100 RTU panels during the Spring of 2020 to Winter of 2021 for inclusion in the Pump Station Telemetry System Upgrades project. The Panel Fabricator will also be required to provide factory testing services for each panel and on-call maintenance services for any unforeseen panel issues throughout the duration of the project construction schedule. For the purposes of this RFQ, it can be assumed the panel size of all approximately 100 panels will be 36”x30”x10” (nominal). The panels will be constructed of NEMA 4X stainless steel.
