Sealed Proposals endorsed “2019 Elwynne Avenue Street Improvements” will be received at the office of the Village Administrator, Village of Silverton, 6943 Montgomery Road, Silverton, Ohio, until 11:00 o’clock am Local Time, on Monday, July 15, 2019, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chamber of the Village of Silverton for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete work, in accordance with the bid documents and specifications to be made available June 24, 2019.
Work in the Village of Silverton includes full-depth pavement reconstruction and curb replacement on Elwynne Avenue.

Each bidder is required to furnish with the proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Performance Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 through 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code.  Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
All proposals shall be made and properly executed on proposal forms as issued by The Village of Silverton and bound together with other documents and specifications. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein.  Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity.   Work shall be substantially completed and acceptable by May 30, 2020.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project.  Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
The Council of the Village of Silverton shall authorize acceptance of the bid made by the responsible bidder who, in Council’s judgment, offers the best and most advantageous proposal, considering quality, service, performance record, and price; or Council may direct the rejection of all bids.  Council may waive any irregularities and reject any or all bids.

In general, renovate existing  low-bay space , construct additional office space and construct shop bay addition.  In addition, improve existing systems, HVAC ,the metal roof and electrical.
The project is located in the City of Cincinnati’s Hartwell neighborhood in Hamilton, County, Ohio.
The estimated cost of construction for this project is: $1,437,918.00
Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents.
