Sealed bids, in duplicate, will be received by the Board of Park Commissioners of Great Parks of Hamilton County at the Winton Centre, 10245 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 for the Bass Island Little Miami River Access Tree Clearing, located at 3815 Newtown Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244, as set forth in the Drawings and Specifications.
This project is to be awarded following Great Parks Board Meeting on October 17, 2024. This project consists of tree clearing at Bass Island prior to the Little Miami River Improvements which will be bid separately at a future time.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly designated on the outside of envelope with the project name. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Winton Centre.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Bass Island. We will meet at the Bass Island parking lot, 3815 Newtown Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244. This parking lot is just north of the Little Miami Golf Center and south of the intersection with Wooster Pike/US Route 50.

Bidding documents shall be obtained at contractor’s expense (no refunds) from ARC Document Solutions, 4219 Malsbary Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242, 513-326-2300 and online at https://customer.e-arc.com/arcEOC/ARCPlanRoom.aspx.
Contracts for work under this bid will obligate all Contractors to comply with prevailing wage rates established by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Compliance, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration.
Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Performance Bond meeting the requirements of Sec. 153.54 & 153.571 O.R.C. executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio in the full amount of the proposal, including add alternates. In lieu of a bid bond, a certified check may be substituted, payable to the Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount, including add alternates. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the bid opening date.
Great Parks of Hamilton County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Ohio River Trail – Oasis Corridor
Professional Design Services

Great Parks of Hamilton County (Great Parks) is requesting Statement of Qualification submittals from consultants to provide professional design and consulting services for the “Ohio River Trail – Oasis Corridor.” The trail project location is in Hamilton County, Ohio, in the City of Cincinnati.
The project consists of constructing a paved shared-use trail on the former north track of the Oasis Rail Line. The segment is roughly 4.75 miles in length, extending from the western terminus at Sawyer Point on City of Cincinnati property, (adjacent to the Montgomery Inn Boathouse) east to Carrel Street, the eastern terminus, connecting at both ends to existing Ohio River Trail segments. Funding for design is available. Funding for partial construction has been applied for as part of the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) program administered by the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI).

Statement of Qualification submittals are due Friday, October 4, 2024 by 4:00 p.m. Submittals shall be provided in PDF format via email to Frank Busofsky at fbusofsky@greatparks.org. Submittal files shall contain the firm’s name and “Ohio River Trail – Oasis Corridor” in the file name. Submission length shall be limited to 40 single-sided pages. Files over 20MB shall be provided via link to a file sharing service.
All consultants submitting a State of Qualifications shall register by providing the firm’s name, address, and contact name with phone number to Frank Busofsky at fbusofsky@greatparks.org. Any questions should also be submitted in writing by email to Frank Busofsky, and both the registration and questions deadline is September 20, 2024 by 4:00 p.m.
