Sealed Proposals endorsed “Glendale 2025 Street Program will be received at the office of the Village Administrator, Village of Glendale, Ohio, until ten (10) o’clock am Local Time, on Friday, the 21st of February, 2025, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room of the Village Glendale for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the construction, all in accordance with the bid documents and specifications to be made available January 30, 2025.

The project includes the resurfacing of Albion Avenue and Osprey Court.

Each bidder is required to furnish with the proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Performance Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 through 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code.  Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
All proposals shall be made and properly executed on proposal forms as issued by The Village of Glendale and bound together with other documents and specifications. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein.  Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity.   Work shall not begin prior to August 1, 2025 and be substantially completed and acceptable by October 31, 2025.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. “DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.001 OF THE REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.001 OF THE REVISED CODE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THE OFFICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES.” Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
The Council of the Village of Glendale shall authorize acceptance of the bid made by the responsible bidder who, in Council’s judgment, offers the best and most responsive proposal, considering quality, service, performance record, and price; or Council may direct the rejection of all bids. Council may waive any irregularities and reject any or all bids.

Sealed Proposals endorsed “Lincoln Heights Simmons Avenue Roadway Improvements” will be received at the office of the Village Manager, Village of Lincoln Heights, 1201 Steffens Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215, until two (2) o’clock pm Local Time, on Thursday, February 13, 2025 and at that time publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chamber of the Village of Lincoln Heights for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the construction, all in accordance with the bid documents and specifications to be made available January 30, 2025.
The project scope includes replacement of watermain within and resurfacing of 2100 LF Simmons Avenue from North Wayne Avenue to the Eastern Terminus of the roadway.  Improvements will also include replacement of portions of concrete curb, sidewalk and driveway aprons and pavement repair with the addition and/or modification of pavement markings.

Contractors must comply with the Davis Bacon Act in the payment of prevailing federal minimum wages, and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act regarding compensation for overtime and safe working conditions in all contracts of $2000 or more.
On contracts of $25,000 or more, general contractors will be required to achieve, a minimum of, 10% Minority Business Entrepreneur participation in the contract, or clearly demonstrate and document good faith effort to achieve MBE participation to be eligible for contract award.
